WALTER D. DAVIDSON SR.

July 1, 1898 – December 30, 1971

Walter Dewey Davidson, Sr., 73, of 3214 Pleasant Street, died in his residence at 4:25pm Thursday. He was born in Paoli IN on July 1, 1898.

In 1919, in St Joseph MI, he married Madeline Buysse, who survives, along with two sons, James C. of Huntington Beach CA, and Walter D., Jr. of Norwalk CA; six grandchildren and a great grandchild.

Friends may call from 7 to 9pm Saturday, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm Sunday and until time of services Monday in the Hollis Funeral Home, South Bend chapel, where services will be held at 10:30am Monday, with Rev. William C. Neece, pastor of the First Church of God, Mishawaka, officiating.

Burial will be in St Joseph Valley Memorial Park. Mr. Davidson retired from the Studebaker Corp. and was a World War I veteran.
