BREMEN - Memoree Lou ''Mem'' Daumer,
50, a resident of 62430 Locust Road, South Bend, Ind., for the
past 5 1/2 years, died, following an illness, at 10:21 p.m.
Tuesday, Jan. 26, in Saint Joseph's Regional Medical Center,
South Bend. Mem was a former resident of Lake of the Woods,
Bremen, Ind. Born the daughter of Edward and Gloria L. Clark Swart
on May 30, 1948, in Highland, Ind., Mem was a member of the
Highland High School Class of 1966.
On Aug. 19, 1967, in Bremen, Ind., she
married Robert W. ''Butch'' Daumer, Jr., and became a homemaker.
She was known to enjoy being a grandmother. She liked helping
people and singing solos in the church. A former member of Shiloh
Wesleyan Church, she belonged to the In His Presence Fellowship
in Mishawaka. Mem is survived by her spouse, Robert; a son, Scott
L. Daumer of Bremen; and a daughter and son-in-law, Heather M.
and Jamie Czarnecki of South Bend. Two grandsons, both of Bremen,
Joshua J. Daumer and Mitchell E. Daumer; and a granddaughter,
Rachael M. Czarnecki of South Bend, also survive. Her
sister, Loree L. ''Babe'' Swart of Bremen survives also. She was
preceded in death by her parents, and an infant son, Robert W.
Daumer, III.
Friends may visit with the family from 3 to
9 p.m. Friday, Jan. 29, 1999, and from 9 to 11a.m.
Saturday, Jan. 30, 1999, in the
Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, 1100 N. Michigan St., Plymouth.
The funeral will be held in the funeral home
at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 30, 1999, following visitation. The
Rev. Barry Fawcett of Columbia City and Pastor Stan Dudka of In
His Presence Fellowship, Mishawaka, will officiate. Burial will
be in Bremen Cemetery, Bremen, Ind. Memorial gifts in Mem's name
may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
