SOUTH BEND - Services for Rebecca K.
Stump D'Arcy, 53, of 52606 Highland Drive, who died at 8:05
a.m. Monday in her home after an illness, will be at 7 p.m.
Thursday in Brenneman Memorial Missionary Church, Goshen. Burial
will be Friday in Clinton Union Cemetery, Goshen. Friends may
call from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and 2 to 5 p.m. Thursday in
Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, Goshen. Memorial contributions may be
made to Community Congregational Church, 17671 Cleveland Road,
South Bend, IN 46637.
Mrs. D'Arcy was employed by Goshen Community
School Corp. as a first-grade teacher at Jefferson Elementary
School and was a former teacher at Battell Elementary School,
Mishawaka. She was born Feb. 16, 1942, in Goshen and lived in
South Bend since 1990.
On June 14, 1963, in South Bend, she married
Rev. David L. D'Arcy. He survives with a daughter, Carmen Stanczykiewicz
of Washington, D.C.; a son, Kevin of South Bend; her mother and
stepfather, Kay and Jerry Krull of Elkhart; a sister,
Brenda Mestach of New Paris; two brothers, Larry Stump
of Altoona, Pa., and Ron Stump of Middlebury; a stepsister, Mari Hall
of Cypress, Texas; and a stepbrother, Jay Krull of Elkhart.
She was a graduate of Bethel College and
Indiana University, Bloomington. She was a member of Community
Congregational Church, taught during the summer at a children's
camp in Brown City, Mich., taught summer school for the
Middlebury School System and directed an Adventure Camp at her
husband's churches.
