SOUTH BEND TRIBUNE – April 29, 1966

 

MRS. MICHAEL DANILOWICZ

February 12, 1889 – April 28, 1966

 

Mrs. Eulalia (Jagmin) Danilowicz, 77, of 628 Western Avenue, died at 10pm Thursday in St Joseph’s Hospital after an illness of one week.

 

Born on February 12, 1889, in Russia, she came here 55 years ago.  On April 30, 1942, she was married to Michael Danilowicz, who survives  Also surviving are three sons, Marion and Victor Jagmin, both of South Bend, and Rev. J. Eugene Finnigan of Kettering OH; two daughters, Mrs. Adelle Kinnard of Lockport IL and Mrs. Lillian Haramacinski of Mishawaka; 27 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

 

Friends may call after 7pm Saturday at Kaniewski & Sons Funeral Home. Services will be at 9am Monday in St Stanislaus Catholic Church.  Rev. Sigmund A. Jankowski, C.S.C., pastor, officiating.  Burial will be in St Joseph Cemetery.

 

She was a member of the Apostleship of the Sacred Heart of Jesus; Goodwill Club; Group 21, Daughters of Poland, Polish Women’s Alliance; Nest 185, Z.B. Falcons, Polish-American Professional Businessmen’s Assn. Auxiliary; the YWCA Mental Health Assn. and the Grandmothers Club.

 

FUNERAL NOTES – May 1, 1966

DANILOWICZ – Active pallbearers at services for Mrs. Eulalia Danilowicz, 628 Western Avenue, will be Marion Jagmin Jr., Joseph Mrozek, Jr., Victor J. Jagmin Jr., Theodore Jagmin, James Finnegan and Robert Urban.  Honorary pallbearers will be Mrs. Martha Florkowski, Mrs. Antoinette Nowak, Mrs. Irene Nowak, Mrs. Julia Liwosz, Mrs. Helen Balukiewicz, and Mrs Esther Sobieralski.

 

The rosary will be recited at 7:30pm today in the Kaniewski & Sons Funeral Home.  Services will be at 9am Monday in St Stanislaus Catholic Church and burial will be in St Joseph Cemetery.
