Raymond H. "Tiny" Daniels,
87, of East 7th Street, Mishawaka, Ind., passed away at 6:45 a.m.
Wednesday morning, Jan. 3, in the Saint Joseph Regional Medical
Center, South Bend, Ind.
Mr. Daniels was born on Oct. 27, 1913, in
Coxville, Ind.
On Feb. 15, 1946, in New Port, Ind., he
married the former Martha Ardella Griffith, who survives.
He is also survived by two sons, Leo Daniels and Garry (Becky)
Daniels of Mishawaka; a grandson, Ryan Daniels, also of
Mishawaka; and by five sisters and four brothers.
Mr. Daniels was employed by the former
Drewery's Brewery for 23 years, and retired in 1975 from the
Mishawaka Parks Department. Mr. Daniels was a lifetime member of
the American Legion Post #48 in Rockville, Ind., D.A.V. #19 in
Elkhart, Ind., V.F.W. Post #1167 in South Bend, F.O.E. #887 in
Clinton, Ind., and the Chain of Lakes Conservation Club in
Lydick, Ind. Mr. Daniels was also a member of the Twin Branch
Bible Church, and was a member of the N.R.A.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today,
Jan. 5, in the Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th Street, Mishawaka.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 6, in the
Olive Cemetery (Beach & C.R. 3) Elkhart, Ind., with Rev.
Daniel Boes officiating. Military rites will be conducted by
V.F.W. Post #1167. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made
to the charity of donor's choice.
