Agnes J. Danielsen, 96, of the Regency Place Health Care and Rehabilitation Center, South Bend, Ind., died at 7:15 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 25, in the Center. She was born on Oct. 6, 1901, in Sarapborg, Norway, and had lived in the South Bend area since 1977, coming here from Barrington, Ill.

On April 5, 1930, in Oak Park, Ill., as Agnes Jacobsen, she married Alfred R. Danielsen, who preceded her in death on Oct. 28, 1990. Mrs. Danielsen is survived by a son, Edgar Danielsen of Granger, Ind.; two grandchildren, Jay Danielsen of Novi, Mich., and Lee Ann McClelland of Granger; and by four great-grandchildren, Jennifer and Evan Danielsen, both of Novi, Mich., and Ashley and Justin McClelland of Granger. Mrs. Danielsen was a homemaker and was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church, Chicago, Ill.

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday in the Welsheimer Funeral Home North, 17033 Cleveland Road, South Bend, where friends may call one hour prior to services. Burial will be in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger. The family has requested that memorial contributions be made to the Salvation Army.
