Robert N. "Bob" Damp, 75,
died Feb. 3, 2003. He was born Jan. 28, 1928, and lived in Donna,
Texas. He was originally from South Bend. Ind., and Foxwood
Hills, Middlebury, Ind. He is survived by his wife of 49 years,
Helen (Waugh) Damp; a daughter, Terry Sue (Damp) Holman
of Elkhart, Ind.; a stepson, Steve (Katherine) Fox of
Shirley, Ind.; a brother, Herman (Inga) Damp of South Bend; a
sister, Florence (William) Wilhelm of South Bend; a
grandson, Ryne of Elkhart; and by a stepson, Jeremy Fox of
Indianapolis, Ind. He was preceded in death by his parents,
George and Anna Damp; four brothers, James, Henry, Norman and
Fred "Delbert" Damp.
He had worked at the Wheelhorse Company in
South Bend. He attended Central High School in South Bend. He was
a bowler and also played softball for the Maennerhor Club in
South Bend.
There will not be a visitation or service.
Cremation has taken place. Handling the arrangements is the
Vaughan Funeral Home in Donna, Texas. A private memorial service
will be held for the immediate family at a later date.
