SOUTH BEND - Marguerite G. Dale, 87, of Auten Road, died at 6:13 a.m. Sunday in Florida South Hospital, Orlando. Mrs. Dale retired in 1976 from Pawating Hospital, Niles. She was born Jan. 6, 1909, in South Bend.
On Nov. 17, 1931, in South Bend, as Marguerite Howell, she married Ivan T. Dale. He died Dec. 21, 1982. She is survived by a daughter, Naedean Perkins of Clermont, Fla.; two sons, Carson L. and Terry D., both of South Bend; seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; and a sister, Gladys Royce of South Bend. She was a member of German Township Senior Citizens Club.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in McGann Funeral Home, 21275 W. Cleveland Road. Cremation will take place, with burial in Highland Cemetery. There will be no visitation. Memorial contributions may be made to German Township Volunteer Fire Department.
