MISHAWAKA - Chester H. Dale, 76, of Mishawaka, passed away at 3:15 p.m., Saturday, November 1, 2008 in St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, South Bend. Chester was born on July 28, 1932 in South Bend to the late Herbert and Lelah (Snyder) Dale. On February 28, 1975, he married Jo Stutts. Chester is survived by his loving wife, Jo of Mishawaka, two children, Andy Dale of Mishawaka and Pasty (Larry) Richardson of Osceola; two grandchildren, Jonathan Richardson and Ronnie Vickery. He is also survived by one brother, Fred Dale of South Bend and one sister, Adena Durham of Mishawaka. He is preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Charles Dale and one sister, Lelah Serge. Chester worked for Bendix for over 32 years before his retirement. He then went to work for Patriot Homes for a while. He was a past member of the Odd Fellows and a past Boy Scout Leader.

Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, November 4, in Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Highway, Osceola. Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, November 5, in the funeral home with burial to follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola.
