Dailey, Arthur W. 63, of 1133 Hill Crest Road, died at 3 a.m. today in Memorial Hospital after becoming ill Sunday. He was born in Andrews, Ind. Sept. 10, 1892 and lived here 34 years coming from Hammond, Ind.

He married Eva. M. Burrows Nov. 24, 1917. She survives. Mr. Dailey was a factory relations manager for Universal Investment Trust in South Bend and previously was special representative for Associates Investment Co. Other survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Henry D. Ullery Jr.; a son, Arthur W. Dailey Jr.; five grandchildren, all of South Bend, and a sister Mrs. Lydia Kitson of Dixon, Ill. Mr. Dailey was a member of South Bend Lodge 294, F. and A.M., the Scottish Rite, South Bend Country Club and First Methodist Church.

Friends may call in the Welsheimer Funeral Home after 7 p.m. today. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in First Methodist Church, with Rev. Kenneth R. Hemphill, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery Mausoleum.
