Stanley A Dabros

October 3, 1913 – June 12, 1998

SOUTH BEND – Stanley A. Dabros of Nature Trail, formerly of Crumstown Highway, died at 7:20pm Friday in his residence.

He was born October 3, 1913, in South Bend and was a lifelong area resident.  He retired in 1978 from the AM General Corp.

He was married November 16, 1940, in South Bend, to Irene Ruszkowski, who survives.  Also surviving is a daughter Carol (Gerald) Critchlow of South Bend; three grandsons, Gerald Critchlow Jr. of Longwood FL, Scott Critchlow of South bend and Wayne (Jennifer) Critchlow of Warsaw.  Preceding Mr. Dabros in death were two sisters, Florence Jerzek and Sophie Papai and two brothers, Joseph and Clem Dabros.

Mr. Dabros was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church, Crumstown Conservation Club and Anchor Inn Conservation Club.

Friends and family may call from 2 to 8pm Monday in the St Joseph Funeral Home, 824 S. Mayflower Road, where a rosary will be said at 6pm.  Services will be at 11:30am Tuesday in Holy Family Catholic Church.  Burial will follow in St Joseph Cemetery.
