SOUTH BEND – Gladys J. Dabros, 87, of Holy Cross Care and Rehabilitation Center, South Bend IN, formerly of 515 E Monroe Street, South Bend, died at 9:45am on Tuesday, March 11, in St Joseph’s Medical Center, South Bend.

Mrs. Dabros was born December 6, 1909, in South Bend, and was a lifelong area resident.  She retired from the former South Bend Toy Manufacturing Company.

She was married September 16, 1939, in South Bend, as Gladys J. Burzynski, to Joseph Dabros, who preceded her in death on December 2, 1967.

She is survived by a son, David Dabros of Mishawaka IN; two granddaughters, Jackie Dabros and Pattie Szymanski, both of South Bend; two great granddaughters, Courtney and Lauren Szymanski; three sisters, Irene Ganus, Martha Skodinski and Ruth Sparazynski, all of “South Bend; and a brother, Ernie Burzynski of South Bend.

Mrs. Dabros was a member of the Senior Citizens Club of St Casimir Catholic Church.

Friends may call from 2 to 8pm today in St Joseph Funeral Home, where a rosary was said at 2:30pm today by the parish and the Senior Citizens Club of St Casimir.
