Sister M. Ebrentrude Czyzewska CSC, 86, of Saint Mary’s Convent, died there at 2:35 p.m. Tuesday.  She was an elementary school teacher in South Bend, Los Angeles, East Chicago and Boise, Idaho, and served in posts at St. Mary’s College, South Bend’s Provincial House and St. Mary’s Convent, Sister Czyzewska was born Mary Magdalen Czyzewski was born on May 16, 1901 in Crimea, Russia. She entered the Congregation of the Sisters of the Holy Cross, St. Mary’s on Jan. 15, 1918; was received as a novice Aug. 4, 1919; and professed her vows Aug. 15, 1920.

Services will be at 4:45 p.m. Thursday in Our Lady of Loretto Church, with burial in Our Lady of Peace Cemetery, Friends may call today and Thursday at St. Mary’s Convent, ehere a wake will be at 7 p.m. today.
