Arthur M. Cyman, age 74, of S. Gladstone Ave., South Bend, died at 10:05 a.m. Tuesday in St. Joseph's Care Center. He was born May 10, 1925, in South Bend, and lived in this area all of his life. Mr. Cyman retired in 1988 from Adams Engineering.
On June 14, 1947, in South Bend, he married Geraldine Kosiak, who survives. Also surviving are two sons, Tim (Marilyn) Cyman of Granger and Ken Cyman of South Bend; six grandchildren, Amy Cyman of Seattle, WA, Meredith and Brad Cyman, both of Granger, IN, Lori (Le Roy) Dreibelbeis of North Liberty, Lisa (Jason) Dale and Karen Cyman, both of South Bend; and three great-grandchildren, Kelsey and Kodi Dreibelbeis, both of North Liberty, and Kaley Holmer of South Bend. Preceding Mr. Cyman in death was a brother, Richard.
Family and friends may call from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday in the St. Joseph Funeral Home, 824 S. Mayflower Rd., where a Rosary will be said at 4:00 p.m. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday at St. Adalbert Catholic Church, with burial to follow in the St. Joseph Cemetery. Mr. Cyman was a veteran of World War II, a member of American Legion Pulaski Post #357 and St. Joseph Young Men's Society.
