Louis E. Curry, 64, passed away of
natural causes on Saturday, Feb. 10, in his residence on Marion
Street in Mishawaka, Ind. Mr. Curry was born on June 3, 1936, in
Florence, Ala., to Thomas and Ollie (Gibbs) Curry.
On Nov. 28, 1975, Louis married Ms. Deanna
Lou Buus in Florence. She survives. Also surviving are his
son, Allen Kersey, and his wife, Pat of Osceola, Ind.; and
his daughter, Rhonda Baroth, and her husband, Jim of
Osceola; two brothers, Carl Curry of Elkhart, Ind., and Carrol
Curry and his wife, Linda of Corinth, Miss.; a sister, Rachel Smith,
and her husband, J.B. of Savannah, Tenn.; his mother-in-law, Lucy
Buus of Mishawaka; and two grandchildren, Desiree Bidlack
and Taylor Baroth.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m.
today, Feb. 13, in Chapel Hill Funeral Home in Osceola. Services
will be conducted at Chapel Hill Funeral Home in Osceola at 1
p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 14, by Reverend Rodney Wright of the
Emmanuel Baptist Church of Mishawaka. Entomb-ment will follow at
Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola.
Mr. Curry graduated from Waterloo High
School in Waterloo, Ala., in 1956. He then joined the Air Force
in 1960, and was honorably discharged in 1965. Mr. Curry worked
for Dodge Reliant in Mishawaka for several years before
retirement in 1999. He also was a member of VFW Post 360 in
Mishawaka. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer
Society.
