John Curry

July 25, 1894 – October 27, 1963

John Curry, 69, of 719 Goodland Ave., died at 5:45am Sunday in St Joseph’s Hospital after an illness of five months.  He was a retired Bendix Corp. employee.  Born on July 25, 1894, in Syria, he came here in 1930 from Chicago.  He married Margaret Killeen on November 14, 1923, in Chicago. She survives. Also surviving are tow daughters, Mrs. E. Louise Sergeant and Mrs. Lorraine Marciniak, both of South Bend, and five grandchildren.

Friends may call in the Welsheimer Funeral Home, where services will be held at 10am Tuesday with Rev. Joseph Jacobs, pastor of St. John Baptist Roman Catholic Church, officiating.  Burial will be in Violet Cemetery, Goshen.  Mr. Curry was a member of the Bendix Retirees Club and the Senior Citizens Club.
