MISHAWAKA - James W. Cunningham, 81, of Mishawaka, IN, who was a
resident of Golden Living Center Fountainview, passed away at
4:30 p.m. Sunday, January 2, 2011, in St. Joseph Regional
Medical Center. James was born on February 8, 1929, in
Morris Chapel, TN, to Hershel and Octavia (Turnbow)
Cunningham. On July 30, 1948, in Corinth, MS, James married
Nell F. Frazier. Nell survives along with their children,
Cathy Fox of Mishawaka, Patti Cunningham of Mishawaka and Terry
(Brenda) Cunningham of Kingsport, TN; six grandchildren, Craig
(Alison) Fox, Jeff (Jaclyn) Fox, Adam Chupp, Rachel Cunningham,
Katherine Cunningham and James Cunningham; three great
grandchildren, Isabel Fox, Willow Fox and Ebba Fox; two brothers,
R.D. (Dorothy) Cunningham of Morris Chapel, TN, and Harold
(Joanne) Cunningham of Granger, IN. James retired from
Uniroyal after 40 years of service and was a member of the
Uniroyal Retirees. James family would like to thank the
staff of Golden Living Center Fountainview for the wonderful care
that James received. Family and friends may call on
Wednesday (January 5) at the Bubb Funeral Chapel, 3910 N. Main
Street, Mishawaka, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. where funeral
services will also take place on Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. with Rev.
Ervin Mize officiating the services with burial to follow at St.
Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger. Memorial
