Sister Mary Norinne CSC, of the Sisters of the Holy Cross, died at 5 p.m. Monday in the motherhouse at St. Mary’s College after a prolonged illness. She was born Margaret J. Cummings in 1865. She was educated in Boston and spent several years in residence before entering the Congregation in 1901. She received the holy habit in 1902 and made her final vows in 1908. There are no immediate relatives surviving.

Friends may call in the Sisters Infirmary parlors. A requiem high mass will be chanted at 6 a.m. Wednesday in the Church of Our Lady of Loretto, with burial in the community cemetery.
