Dolores R. Cukrowicz

November 22, 1929 – July 24, 1996

SOUTH BEND – Dolores R. Cukrowicz, 66, of Grant Road, South Bend, died at 1:30am Wednesday in her home.  Mrs. Cukrowicz retired from Uniroyal Corp, Mishawaka IN, and Meerts Clothing Care Center, South Bend.

She was born November 22, 1929, in South Bend and was a lifelong area resident.

She was married May 13, 1950, in South Bend as Dolores R. Krojniewski to Arthur J. Cukrowicz who passed away January 26, 1994.

Mrs. Cukrowicz is survived by a daughter, Veronica Prestine of Niles MI; three sons, Lee and Nick Cukrowicz of South Bend and Ed Cukrowicz of Fort Lauderdale FL; four grandchildren, two great grandchildren, a sister, Joann Chrapliwy of South Bend and a brother, Arthur Krojniewski of South Bend.

Friends may call from 2 until 4 and 6 until 8pm today at the St Joseph Funeral Home.  A parish rosary will be said at 3pm today.  Services will be at 1pm Friday at the St Joseph Funeral Home.  Cremation to follow.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of St Joseph County.

Mrs. Cukrowicz was a member of Polish Womens Alliance Group 305, Confraternity of the Holy Rosary and Apostleship of Prayer, all of St Stanislaus Catholic Church.  She was also a member of St Stanislaus Catholic Church.
