JOSEPH S. CSABI

January 20, 1909 – May 24, 1981

Joseph S. Csabi, 72, of 55444 Fairview, died about 7am Sunday in his home after an extended illness. He was a former Bendix Corp employee, having worked there as a millwright for thirty-four years.

Born on January 20, 1909, in South Bend, he had lived her his lifetime. On June 1, 1940, in South Bend, he married Regina Ladewski, who survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Joyce Enders of South Bend; two sons, James L. of Springfield IL and Joseph Jr. of South Bend; four grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Theresa Vigh of South Bend; and a brother, Steve, of South Bend.

Services will be at 10am Wednesday in the St John the Baptist Catholic Church. Rev Joseph A Jacobs, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery.

Friends may call from 7 to 9pm today and from 2 to 9pm Tuesday in the Kaniewski and Sons Funeral Home, where a parish rosary will be recited at 7pm Tuesday. Csabi was a member of the Chain-O-Lakes Conservation Club and the Bowlers Country Club.
