MISHAWAKA - Dolly (Ethel Elizabeth) Crofoot, 86, of
Mishawaka, passed away on Saturday, August 9, 2008. She was born
on December 13, 1921, in Edwardsburg, MI. On January 31, 1948, as
the former Dolly Vickers, she married George D. Crofoot in
Elkhart, IN. Mr. Crofoot passed away on April 14, 2002. Her
parents also preceded her in death, along with six brothers and
four sisters. Survivors are a sister, Mildred Sanders of
Elkhart; two daughters, Sue Ann (Jim) Feece of Mishawaka
and Barbara Grose of Mishawaka; a son, George Jr. of South
Bend; and a stepdaughter, Nicole Weatherford of Southlake,
TX. Other survivors are six grandchildren, Pamela (Nick) Tekler
of South Bend, Diana (Matt) Carney of Lakeville, Jim Feece
Jr. of Orlando, FL, Jenny (Dusty) Shurley of Edwardsburg,
MI, Karen Ross (Mark Miller) of Elkhart and Jimmy Grose of
Mishawaka; 10 great-grandchildren, Rodney and Stephen Tekler,
Rachael Carney, Nathan, Garrett, Avery and Morgan Shurley, Sash
and Shayla Templeton, and Dylan Miller. Dolly was
an avid bingo player and enjoyed the friends she met and made at
the bingo halls since 1955.
Family and friends may call on Thursday,
August 14, from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Bubb Funeral Chapel, 3910 N.
Main Street, Mishawaka, where funeral services will be at 1 p.m.
on Friday, August 15, Rev. Ervin Mize officiating the funeral
service, with burial to follow at Fairview Cemetery, Mishawaka.
