SOUTH BEND – Mrs. Cecelia M. Cressy, 64, of 309 E. Pokagon Street, died Friday evening in St. Joseph Hospital. She had been ill for five months. She was born Nov. 17, 1898 in South Bend.

She was married June 4, 1919 in South Bend, to Ralph J. Cressy who survives. Also surviving are a son, William R. Cressy of South Bend; a daughter, Mrs. Virginia Grant of Honolulu, Hawaii; her mother, Mrs. Mary Sledzikowski of South Bend; a brother, Frank Harris of South Bend and five grandchildren.

Friends may call after 7 p.m. today in Walsh-Bilancio Colonial Chapel. Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Monday in St. Joseph Catholic Church with Rev. Joseph F. Murphy CSC officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery. The rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Sunday in the funeral chapel.
