27, 1942 - Dec. 25, 2009LAKEVILLE - Linda Joan Crawford, 67, of Lakeville, IN, passed away at 6:05 p.m. Friday, December 25, 2009, in her home. She was born October 27, 1942, in Urbana, IL, to Maurice J. and Madonna (Bushur) Sudkamp. On October 2, 1976, in Waldorf, MD, she married Robert Crawford, who survives. Mrs. Crawford is also survived by son, Philip M. (Gabriella) Grammatica of South Bend, IN; stepdaughter, Barbara M. (Joe) Berned of Bowie, MD; stepson, Robert L. Crawford Jr. of Hyattsville, MD; stepfather, Clay (Judy) Crosby of Des Moines, IA; six grandchildren, Michelle Lynn Grammatica, Jessica Anna Grammatica, Brady Alexander Berned, Faith Ann Berned, David Whalen and Travis Whalen; a sister, Diane, and two brothers, Clayton Crosby and David Crosby, all of IA. Daughter, Linda Madonna Findley, preceded her in death. Mrs. Crawford served her country honorably in the United States Navy from 1962 to 1964. There will be no services or visitation. Palmer Funeral Home-Lakeville, and Southlawn Cremation Services, South Bend, are handling the arrangements.
