22, 1941 - Feb. 27, 2010SOUTH BEND - Joan M. "Joni" Crawford, 68, of South Bend, passed away Saturday morning in Regency Place of South Bend. She was born March 22, 1941, to the late Jacob Dale and Pearl Edith (Amick) Crawford. Also preceding her in death were two sisters, Thelma Russell and Kathryn Sater; and a brother, Harry Alvin Crawford. Surviving her are a sister, Mary Jane Mock of South Bend; brothers, Harold Crawford (Alice), Walter Crawford (Glory) of Granger, Robert Crawford (Brenda) in Alabama and Larry Lee Crawford (Barb) of South Bend; and numerous nieces and nephews who loved her dearly. Joni graduated from Clay High School in 1959 and lived in Clay Township all her life, and was well-known to her many friends. She worked for McDonald's in Roseland for 20 years. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 3rd, in the Welsheimer Family Funeral Home North, 17033 Cleveland Road, with Pastor Edgar D. Erskin officiating, and burial at Mt.
