Rev. Clarence Cravens.

     Rev. Clarence Cravens, 307 S. Pine St., died at 3 p.m. Friday in St. Joseph Hospital after 10 weeks' illness.  He was born in Union City, Tenn., May 13, 1885, and came here five years ago from Nashville, Tenn.  In 1906 in Hickman, Ky., he married Miss Ellen Shelby.  She preceded him in death.  Rev. Mr. Cravens was a former pastor of New Hope Baptist Church, Nashville.  Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Helen Holland, of South Bend; two grandchildren and two nieces, Mrs. Ellen Gracey and Mrs. Nell Jordan, of Nashville.  Friends may call after 7 p.m. today in the Woolridge Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be in Mount Olive Baptist Church at 11 a.m. Monday with Rev. J. J. Jackson, officiating.  Burial will be in Highland Cemetery.
