Gloria Kay Craig, 47, residing on Mishawaka Avenue, South Bend, Ind., passed away at 11:15 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 24, in her home. She was born on March 29, 1951, in Bay City, Mich., to Ralph and Doris Gies Bornemann, and had lived in South Bend since 1978, coming from Bay City.

On June 29, 1982, in South Bend, she married Eric A. Craig, who survives. She is also survived by a daughter, Melanie Jefferson of LaPorte, Ind.; two grandchildren, Falcon Jefferson and Gunner Cowgill, both of LaPorte; her father, Ralph Bornemann of Bay City; a sister, Connie Wakefield of Prescott, Mich.; and by three brothers, Terry Bornemann of Bellingham, Wash., Rick Bornemann of Bay City and Rob Bornemann of Auke Bay, Alaska. Gloria was preceded in death by her mother, Doris Bornemann on Oct. 27, 1997. She was a member of the South Bend Area Genealogical Society and the Michiana Quilt Guild.

Services will be at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, March 2, in the Palmer Funeral Home, 2528 Mishawaka Avenue, South Bend. Rev. Donald R. Francis will officiate. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday in the Palmer Funeral Home.
