Mrs. Thomas W. Cowperthwaite

1891 – May 13, 1963

Following an illness of six months, Mrs. Thomas W. Cowperthwaite, 72,of 1045 E. Mishawaka Ave., died at 11am Monday in St Joseph’s Hospital.

She was born in Edinburgh, Scotland, and came here two years ago from Detroit MI.  As Andrena Ross, she married Mrs. Cowperthwaite in Windsor, Canada, October 16, 1922.  He survives along with one son, Gordon A. Cowperthwaite, of Yellow Springs OH; two granddaughters, Leslie and Jenifer, also of Yellow Springs OH; and a brother and two sisters, in Scotland.

Friends may call in the Bubb Funeral Chapel after 5pm today and until the funeral services there at 3pm Wednesday.  Rev. Wilbur B. Dexter of the St Paul’s Episcopal Church, will officiate and burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
