Mrs. Dora Belle Coverdale

January 22, 1885 – October 27, 1963

Mrs. Dora Bella Coverdale, 78, died at 7:45am Sunday in the River Park Nursing Home after an illness of 15 years.  She was born on January 22, 1885, in Starke County and had lived here since 1905, coming from there.  She was married on June 26, 1907, to Emery Coverdale, who died last May.

She is survived by a son, Kenneth E., South Bend; a grandchild; two great grandchildren; a brother, Dan Emigh, Knox, and a sister, Mrs. Ella Leek, South Bend. 

Friends may call from 7 to 9pm today, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm Tuesday in the Welsheimer Funeral Home, where services will be held at 10am Wednesday, Rev. Hugh Campbell, pastor of Epworth Memorial Methodist Church, will officiate and burial will be in Highland Cemetery.  She was a member of the Royal Neighbors of American and the Auten Relief Corps.
