MISHAWAKA - Irma M. Coussens, 80, of Grape Road, died at 10 a.m. Thursday in St. Joseph Hospital of natural causes. Mrs. Coussens was employed by the former Bendix Corp., South Bend.

She was born March 2, 1914, in South Bend, and was a lifelong area resident. On Jan. 20, 1940, in South Bend, as Irma M. Horvath, she married Julius ''Joe'' Coussens. He survives with a sister, Helen Butler of Cedar Hill, Texas; two nieces; and one nephew. She was a member of the Women's Society of St. Pius X Catholic Church, Granger, a member of the Bendix Softball Team, and Erskine, Elbel, Robin Hood and Eberhart golf courses.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in the church. Entombment will be in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger. Friends may call from 2 to 5 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday in Bubb Funeral Chapel North, 3910 N. Main St., where a parish wake will be at 7:30 p.m.
