James C. Couch-- December 21, 1915 -- August 30, 1993

South Bend -- James C. Couch, 77, of Chino Valley, Arizona, formerly of South Bend, died Monday in his home after an illness.  Mr. Couch retired in 1990 from Seven Seas Service Center in Arizona.  He was born December 21, 1915, in South Bend, and moved to Arizona in 1972.  He is survived by a son, Jim of Chino Valley; three grandchildren; two sisters, Margarita Humphrey and Cecelia Bauters, both of South Bend; and four brothers, Victor of South Bend, and Frederick, Leo and Howard, all of South Bend.  He was a veteran of World War II.  Services will be at 10 AM Friday in St. Catherine LeBoure Catholic Church, Chino Valley.  Burial will be in Chino Valley Cemetery.  Friends May call from 6 to 7 PM Thursday in the church, where a parish rosary will be said at 7 PM.  The Arizona Ruffner Wakelin Funeral Home, Prescott, Arizona, is in charge of arrangements.  Memorial contributions may be made to the church.
