15, 1938 - Mar. 16, 2010MISHAWAKA - Thelma C. "Toots" Costinett, 72, of Mishawaka, died at home on Monday March 16, 2010. She was born in Mishawaka on January 15, 1938 to Grandville & Blanche (Secrest) Housand. Toots had formerly been employed at St. Joseph Hospital in Mishawaka. She was a member of Epsilon Sigma Alpha Sorority International. Among her hobbies were crocheting, reading and dancing. She married Robert C. Costinett in Plymouth on October 17, 1981. Mrs. Costinett is survived by her husband Bob of Mishawaka. Also surviving are her daughter, Beth (Steve Gile)Rodick of Osceola, four sons, Andrew (Tracy) Hayes of Osceola, Michael (Kristi Artusi) Hayes of Mishawaka, Joseph (Wendy) Hayes of Mishawaka, Anthony (Dawn) Hayes of Sturgis, MI. Toots is survived by fifteen grandchildren, Blair, Sarah, Matthew, Ashley (Joel) Barrett, Brittany, Steven, Kyle, Josh, Shawn, Nick, Shelby, Damian, Katharine, Kyley and Koley and two great- grandchildren along with two sisters, Hope Gill of Mishawaka, Wanda (Ken) Cowen of South Bend and a brother Silverdollar "Buck" Housand of Mishawaka. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Patricia and Phyllis and a brother Raymond.
