SOUTH BEND - Sister M. Theodorus Cosgrove, CSC, 99, of Saint Mary's Convent, died at 2:50 a.m. Sunday in her residence. Sister M. Theodorus was born March 4, 1894, in Montgomery, Ind., as Esther Cosgrove.

She entered the Congregation of Sisters of the Holy Cross on Jan. 13, 1923; was received as a novice Aug. 15, 1923; and professed her vows Aug. 15, 1925. She was assigned as a supervisor of culinary departments of convents, serving at St. Paul's School Convent, Valparaiso; St. Joseph's Medical Center; St. Mary's Academy, and came to St. Mary's Convent in 1958. She is survived by a brother, Joseph Cosgrove of Bakersfield, Calif.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in Church of Loretto. Burial will be in Our Lady of Peace Cemetery. Friends may call after 3 p.m. today in the church, where a wake will be at 7 p.m. Hickey Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to Sisters of the Holy Cross Ministry with the Poor Fund, Bertrand Hall, Saint Mary's, Notre Dame, Ind. 46556.
