SOUTH BEND – Doris
M. Cortier, 71, of Medco Nursing Center, died Thursday
afternoon in Memorial Hospital. She was employed at Montomery
Ward as an office clerk retiring in 1983. She was born Dec. 31,
1920 in Kokomo, and has resided in this area most of her life.
Surviving are a daughter, Gail Flowers of Mishawaka; a son
Terry of South Bend; three grandchildren; one great-grandchild;
two sisters. Mildred Zelasko and Rose Marie Wartha,
both of South Bend; and three brothers, Bernard Gray of
Niles, Richard Gray of Mishawaka and Gary Gray of Michigan.
Services will be at
11 a.m. Monday in Holy Cross Catholic Church with burial in
Highland Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday in
Kaniewski & Sons Funeral Home.
Editor: Her maiden name was Doris M. Grayczk, which her
brothers must have changed to Gray.
