SOUTH BEND - Helga Rudolf Corns, 78, of South Bend, passed
away Saturday morning, June 21, 2008, in Southfield Village. She
was born May 22, 1930, in Schluechtern, Germany, to Karl and
Louise Ringler Rudolf. Besides her parents, she was
preceded in death by her brother, Fritz Rudolf.
On February 2, 1956, in Evansville, Indiana,
she married Edwin A. Corns, who survives along with her daughter,
Marie Corns Pusinelli (Gregory) of Burr Ridge, Illinois; a
son, Ronald R. Corns (Tina) of Maumee, Ohio; and six
grandchildren, Adam, Alex, Grant and Michael Pusinelli, Austin
and Graydon Corns. Mrs. Corns was an avid traveler and went
overseas many times. She enjoyed playing bridge and the piano and
had a great love for classical music.
Funeral services will be held at 12:30 p.m.
Tuesday, June 24th, in the Welsheimer Family Funeral Home North,
17033 Cleveland Road. Pastor Loren Van Oort will conduct services
and burial will be at St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park. Friends
may visit with the family from 10 a.m. to noon in the funeral
home. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice and
