Mabel S. Corner

Walkerton - Mabel Sarah Corner, 83, of 715 Beech St., died at 5:15 a.m. 
today in her home after an illness. Mrs. Corner retired from Walkerton Nursing 
Home as a cook. She was born Feb 3, 1911, in Teegarden and was a lifelong area 
resident. On July 13, 1929, in Plymouth, as Mabel S. Amor, she married Ernest
R.  Corner. He died Dec. 24, 1964. She is survived by a daughter Jean
(Stahley) Hall  of South Bend, a son, Russell D. of Sioux Falls. S. D., four
grandchildren; and  seven great grandchildren. She was a member of Walkerton
Presbyterian church and  Rebecca Lodge.

Service will be at 2 p.m.  Wednesday in Nusbaum-Elkin Funeral Home.  Burial
will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9  p.m.
Tuesday in the funeral home.
