Mrs. Loretta J. Deka Corner. Mrs. Loretta Jane Deka Corner, 652 N. Lawndale Ave., died at 1:10 a.m. today in her home after an illness of four weeks. Born in Marshall County, Indiana May 26, 1886, she had lived in this community most of her life. She had been employed in the St. Joseph Hospital laundry for a number of years. Surviving are her uncle, Calvin A. Ward, Niles, Mich., and two cousins, C. V. McKinny, Culver, Ind., and Mrs. Loretta Switzer, Michigan City, Ind. Friends may call in the Welsheimer Funeral Home after 7 p.m. Saturday. The funeral will be held at 9 a.m. Monday in Holy Cross Catholic Church. Rev. Walter J. Higgins, C.S.C., pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Mishawaka.
