Mrs. Bertha Cornelison
Mrs. Bertha Cornelison, 72, of 57111
Chamberlain Dr. died at 6:55 p.m. Saturday in Osteopathic Hospital after an
illness of one year. She was born Jan. 23, 1900, in Bloomington, Nebr., and had
lived in South Bend area 23 years, coming from North Liberty. On June 20, 1914,
she married John Cornelison, who died April 4, 1947. She is survived by two
sons, Chester W. of South Bend, and Richard G. of LaPorte; four daughters, Mrs.
Rena Mae Ellis and Mrs. Robert Kelly, both of South Bend; Mrs. William Wright
and Mrs. Mary Tucker, both of LaPorte; 12 grandchildren, one great grandchild,
and four sisters, Mrs. Fred Knight of Newaygo, Mich.; Mrs. Aurie Warble of
Eldorado, Kan.; Mrs. Etta Hobbs of Southgate, Calif.; and Mrs. Mary Bell Garver
of South Bend.
Funeral arrangement are incomplete and are being
handled by Forrest G. Hay and Sons Funeral home.

Cornelison - Services for Mrs. Bertha
Cornelison, 72, of 57111 Chamberlain Dr., who died Saturday will be at 10 a.m.
Wednesday in the Forest G. Hay and son Funeral Home, 1201 S. Michigan St., Rev.
William Miller, pastor of the Crumstown Mennonite Church, officiating. Burial
will be in Southlawn Cemetery.
Friend may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today
and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home. Among the
survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Mary Tuckey of LaPorte, and a sister Mrs. Aurie
Varble of Eldorado, Kan.
