SOUTH BEND - Rev. John J. Corcoran, CSC, 75, of Holy Cross House at the University of Notre Dame, died at 3:10 p.m. Wednesday in Holy Cross House. He was a teacher for 36 years at Notre Dame High School for Boys in Niles, Ill.

He joined the Congregation of the Holy Cross by professing his vows in 1941 and was ordained in 1947. He was born Aug. 18, 1918, in Geneva, N.Y. Surviving is a sister, Florence French of Geneva.

Services will be at 3:30 p.m. Monday in Sacred Heart Basilica. Burial will be in Community Cemetery, Notre Dame.

Friends may call after 3:30 p.m. Sunday in the Moreau Seminary Chapel, where a wake service will be at 7:30 p.m. Hickey Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
