Eloise Corcoran

March 5, 1898 – April 26, 1982

Mrs. Eloise Corcoran, 84, of 215 E. Pokagon, died at 7:10pm Monday in St Joseph’s Medical Center after a brief illness.  She was a housewife.

 She was born on March 5, 1898, in Louisville KY, and lived in the South Bend area most of her life, having come from Louisville.  On September 28, 1926, in South Bend, she married Eugene T. Corcoran, who survives.  Also surviving are four sons, Eugene T Jr. and Joseph F, both of South Bend, and John O and James E., both of Phoenix AZ 11 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

Friends may call form 3 to5 and 7 to9pm Wednesday in the McGann Funeral Home, where the parish rosary will be recited at 7:30pm Wednesday.  She was a member of T Patrick Catholic Church, the Christ Child Society and the Altar and Rosary Society of the church.  She was a graduate of St Mary’s of the Springs College, Columbus OH.  Memorial contributions may be made to St Vincent DePaul Society or the Christ Child Society.
