MISHAWAKA - Services for Herbert E. Corbin Jr., 72, of North Wenger Street, who died at 5:21 p.m. Monday in St. Joseph Community Hospital, will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Bubb Funeral Chapel North, 3910 N. Main St. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church.

Mr. Corbin retired from Uniroyal Plastics Co. as a supervisor in the physical testing division after 43 years of service.

He was born Aug. 12, 1923, in Mishawaka. On May 11, 1949, in Mishawaka, he married Goldie S. Stesucza. She died Dec. 18, 1992. He is survived by a grandson, Tim Wallace of Mishawaka. A daughter, Paula Sue Wallace, died in 1992. He was a member of the church and an Army veteran of World War II.
