The funeral for Lilas Corbett, 76, Michigan City, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Carlisle Funeral Home. Mrs. Corbett died at 3:15 p.m. Monday (April 27, 1992) at St. Anthony Hospital.
Burial will be in Swan Lake Memorial Gardens.
Friends may call from 3 to 9 p.m. Friday and until the service Saturday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Corbett was born Oct. 31, 1915 in South Bend, the daughter of Joseph and Flossie (Marbeiter) Bickel. On Feb 27, 1939 in Michigan City, she married Alexander “Jack” Corbett who survives.
Also surviving are a son, Richard A. Corbett, Houston Texas; two daughters, Sue E. Volk, Michigan City, and Judi L. Lisenbee, Victorville, Calif; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a brother, Robert Bickel, Michigan City; and a sister, Dorothy Proll, Bradenton, Fla. A granddaughter and two brothers are deceased.
