SOUTH BEND – Mrs. Laura Cool, 2233 Beverly Place, died in St. Joseph Hospital at 8:40 p.m. Wednesday. She was born in Poland on Sept 23, 1884.

Her husband Vernon died in 1922. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Alice Kelley; a son Thomas H., both of South Bend; three grandchildren, and two brothers, Joseph Aftowski of South Bend and Cecil Kroaker of Shanawo, Wis.

Mrs. Cool was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church. Friends may call after 7 p.m. today in the Hickey Funeral Home.
