Sheila Maureen Cooley

Ms. Sheila Maureen Cooley, 48, loving mother, grandmother and sister who resided on East Bissell Street, South Bend, Ind., passed away on Friday, March 10, in her residence. Sheila was born in November 1951 in South Bend to the union of the late Harry Dale and Mary Ellen (Walton) Cooley. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Marvin Cooley and Gerald Cooley. She was a lifetime area resident.

Family members who will cherish her memory include two daughters, Jennifer (Richard) Jackson and Brandy Maureen Byrd, both of South Bend; three grandsons, Darvis Bridges, Cedric Cooley and Jayden Jackson; a granddaughter, Da'sha' Jackson, all of South Bend; three sisters, Diane (Raymond) Ortiz of South Bend, Judy (Rich) Midcap of Spencer, W.Va., and Melissa Cooley of Tupanich, Wash.; two brothers, Ronald Cooley and Eric Cooley, both of Spencer; a companion, Robert Byrd of South Bend; along with other relatives and friends.

Private memorial services for Ms. Cooley were held earlier. Alford's Mortuary handled professional arrangements.
