Franklyn Jean Cook

Mrs. Robert F. Cook, 40, of 409 N. Victoria St., a lifetime resident of Mishawaka, died at 11 a.m. Wednesday in St. Joseph Hospital. She had been ill for about two months.

 

Mrs. Cook was born in Mishawaka and as Miss Jean Borden she married Robert F. Cook on May 28, 1938.

Surviving are her husband; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. George A. Borden, of this city; a son, Gregory F., and a daughter, Linda Ann, both at home; a sister, Mrs. Donald Field, of Homewood, Ill., and a brother, Robert O. Borden, of South Bend.

Mrs. Cook was a member of the First Methodist Church and was a teacher in the primary department of the Sunday school. She also was a member of the Woman's Society of Christian Service of that church, and of the Tri Kappa Sorority. She was graduated from Mishawaka High School in 1933.

Friends may call at the bent & Sprague Chapel after 7 p.m. today and until 10 p.m. Friday.

 

The body will be taken to the First Methodist Church Saturday morning and friends may call there from 9 a.m. until the funeral services at 10:30 o'clock. Rev. J. Yunker, pastor, will officiate and burial will be in Fairview Cemetery
