Aug. 21, 1950 - April 20, 2010SOUTH BEND - Craig L. Cooke, 59, residing in South Bend, IN, passed away at 7:20 AM Tuesday, April 20, 2010, in Memorial Hospital, South Bend. Craig had retired from the United States Air Force after 20 years of service. He was presently employed with W.J. Hagerty & Sons, South Bend. Craig was born on August 21, 1950, in Anchorage, Alaska, to Harold L. and Doris "Bobbi" (Woodward) Cooke, and had lived in South Bend for the past 20 years. Craig is survived by his sister, Connie (Ken) Van Nevel of Granger; one brother, Christopher Cooke of Los Angeles, CA; two nieces, Kelly Van Nevel of Tampa, FL, and Kari Van Nevel of Orlando, FL; and his nephew, K.J. Van Nevel of Los Angeles, CA. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, April 23, 2010, in the Palmer Funeral Home-River Park, 2528 Mishawaka Ave., South Bend. Rev. Vickie Van Nevel, pastor of Northwest United Methodist Church, will officiate. Friends may visit with the family from 6:00 - 8:30 PM today in the funeral home. Contributions in memory of Craig L.
