Robert C. Conti, Jr., 62, of South Bend, Ind., died on Saturday, Nov. 14, 1998, and was born in Pittsburgh, Pa., on Aug. 25, 1936.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Evelyn J. Conti; and by a son, Robert E. Conti.

Mr. Conti was the general manager of South Bend Coca Cola, was a member of the Indiana Bottlers Association, and a member of the South Bend Country Club.

He is survived by his father, Robert C. Conti, Sr., of Pittsburgh; his wife Nancy; daughters, Beth Routen of Fort Wayne, Ind., and Joan Conti of Lexington, Ky.; a sister, Carolyn Byrne of Pittsburgh; a brother, Edgar Conti of Scottsdale, Ariz.; and by two grandsons, Rob and Greg Routen.

A memorial visitation will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday in the Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N. Bendix Drive, South Bend.

A funeral Mass and burial were held on Friday, Nov. 20, in Pittsburgh.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to Providence Montessori School, 1209 Texaco Street, Lexington, KY 40508.
