Sister Mary Angela CSC, 72, died early this morning in St. Mary’s Convent. She was born Mildred Elizabeth Connor in Wilmington, Ill. in 1896. She completed her first year at St. Mary’s College, prior to her entrance into the convent in 1917. She received her bachelor’s degree from St. Mary’s and during her community lifeshe was assigned as a teacher in California, Illinois, Iowa, Washington DC, and Anderson, Ind. She taught at Holy Cross Elementary School and St. Joseph High School in South Bend.

Friends may call in the convent parlor. Services and burial will be at 9:30 a.m. Saturday in the Church of Our Lady of Loretto on the college campus.
