NEW CARLISLE -- Karl John Conjalka, 40, died Monday in his home. The cause of death is being investigated by the St. Joseph County coroner's office. Survivors include his wife, Dawn R. (Luhrsen); a daughter, Kari A. Conjalka of Mishawaka; his mother, Betty A. Conjalka of LaPorte; a sister, Patricia A. Jones of Westminster, Colo.; and two brothers, Charles A. and Alan A., both of LaPorte. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Kaniewski Funeral Home, New Carlisle, where friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday.
