OSCEOLA - Richard L. ''Dick'' Comer, 68, of 204 Pierce St., died at 5 p.m. Monday in his home after an illness. Mr. Comer was the owner/operator of Dick Comer Heating & Air Conditioning. He was born March 13, 1926, in Mishawaka, and was a lifelong area resident.

On Sept. 11, 1948, in Mishawaka, he married Betty June Troup. She survives, with a daughter, Connie Hiller of Osceola; a son, Jack of Edwardsburg; and three grandchildren. He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 360, Mishawaka, American Legion Post 308, and was a veteran of World War II.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in Warner Funeral Home. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association.
