MISHAWAKA - Theodore Combs Jr., 64, of Ferris Avenue, died at 10:15 a.m. Friday at his home after an illness.

Mr. Combs retired after 30 years as owner and operator of Ted Combs Construction Co. He was born Aug. 1, 1930, in Rochester, and lived here 45 years.

On Dec. 31, 1949, in South Bend, he married Shirley J. Martin, who lives in Osceola. She survives with two daughters, Carla K. Colwell of Mishawaka and Cynthia (Chapla) Deltoro of Naples, Fla.; five grandchildren; and a sister, Thea G. Krugman of Rochester.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in Hickey Funeral Home, 3516 E. Jefferson.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home.
